Soooo excited!

I am so excited. Our friends Ky, Larry and their kids and us are all going to Disney on Ice on Thursday. We were able to get 4 tickets for 81 dollars in the first row of 108 at First Mariner Arena!! (Thank you Ky for suggesting to pick them up down town and running to do it! You ROCK!!) Just thought I would tell everyone how excited we are!!! Lots of fall pictures to come soon :)

Really cute

I have snack again for Turner's class today. I have decided to try and get more creative with my snacks, and since it is so close to Halloween I decided to make Spooky Brownies. It was a little time consuming, but REALLY stinkin' cute. I can't wait for him to enjoy them today with all of his friends. My neighbor saw them and has now requested them for her Halloween party on Saturday!

Here is a picture of them for the Betty Crocker site. I will post pictures of the ones I made later!!

Catching up

This fall I have felt like all I have been doing is playing catch up. I started teaching in the city 2 days a week and I have also been teaching a class on Saturday mornings. I really love teaching and I see myself doing it full time in the near future, but I have realized that my children are number one and I can't do it all. I really need to be with them as much as possible still. I don't really like my kids being with random sitters and Ryan works too, so I am trying to cut back my hours some... now only if my boss would cooperate and get moving on this (it has been 3 weeks that we have been trying to get coverage for the Tuesday afternoon classes....)

I have also been working out with a personal trainer for about 6 weeks or so now. I am seen definite results and I am loving it! I am making huge milestones and I crave the exercise when I don't do it. This is HUGE for me and I am really proud of myself :)

I am also PTA president at the kids school... well enough said there!

The kids are growing up right before my eyes! I just adore my kids even when they are a handful!

Reese's First Day of School

Reese is such a Big Girl now! She was going to be the oldest in her 2's class by quite a bit, so we talked to the school and she was moved into the 3s class. She is doing so well. She has made friends, done art projects, learned about the letter A, told the teacher when she has to use the potty, and all around seems to be blending in well with the class. She will be in school 3 days a week now! We are so proud of her! Here are some pictures from her first day!

Raven's game

Last weekend our neighbor Katie took the kiddos for the day for us so that we could go to the opener for the Ravens! Ryan and I are huge football fans and LOVE fall because it is football season. If you did not know the two teams we are crazy about are Penn State (Ry's alma mater) and the Ravens (who would not love a team that they saw start from the ground up!)! Here are some pictures from our fun day out at opening game... oh yeah.. WE WON!!

Upcoming

I know it has been a week since I last posted, but we have had a pretty good week. I will be posting more soon in the near future, but for right now I am still in recovery mode. I came down with the swine flu this week. Awesome, I know. If my fever stays away until tomorrow morning I am not contagious anymore, however I am still supposed to take it easy for a while longer! It is not pleasant... I suggest staying far away from it!!! I hope to post more this weekend (like the kids first week at school- Turner's second year, Reese's very first week of school ever!!), but if I don't I will post early next week :)

So Fun!

Ryan and I took the kids to Sesame Street live last night! It was really fun. The kids absolutely loved it. Turner was a little more serious about it in his enjoyment, but Reese was all out having a good time. Unfortunately we forgot our camera, but I will never forget Reese dancing the Hula and singing "Hot Hot Hot" to Ryan. She was all smiles and really played along with everything that was going on. She did whatever the characters asked them to do! It was the cutest thing. To see my kids having such a great time filled me completely with joy. I felt like I was going to burst, and I almost let a few tears of happiness fall! I asked them what their favorite parts were, and Reese said she loved seeing all of the girls (being Zoe and Abby), and Turner loved seeing Elmo! They are still talking about how much fun it was and Reese now wants to take dance class even more!

Here are some photos from my blackberry that we took last night. The quality is not great, but you can tell how much fun they were having!
