Snow
We love snow! Turner and Reese both loved it this year. The loved sliding down the front hill on their bellies. Turner went sledding with Tracey, Jeff, Jeffrey and Riley. Reese played out front with Ryan and Hannah! Fun was had by all! (it is such a difference from last year with Reese! There were no tears!)

Haircut
Reese finally let Mrs. Dawn cut her hair without sitting on my lap! Here are some photos from her big step! She even got her hair braided and curled!

Shaving
Grammy and Pop gave Turner some play shaving stuff in his stocking at their house this year. Turner loves it. He gets to shave as a reward for being good in the bath. Of course it is Transformers shaving stuff so it makes it even more exciting. Reese even loves to partake in the shaving festivities!

Dress up
A reoccurring game at our house is dress up. Turner is still in love with his Buzz Lightyear costume and Reese, well you all know Reese... fairies and princesses! When Daddy is home they get to fly!

Scooter
Turner got a scooter for Christmas from my grandparents and both kids LOVE it! They especially love getting in all of their safety gear and wearing it all day long. I don't know why but we only have some shots of Reese right now.

Miracles
Occasionally miracles happen at our home and our children actually are nice to one another. It is not very often and when it does happen we are trying to catch it on film to remind ourselves that they will one day actually like one another! Here is a couple cute shots we got of them together without being coached! I think that they really do adore one another but have a pact to drive mom up a wall!

Our own band
For Christmas Ryan and I received Guitar Hero Rock band for our Wii. Needless to say it has become a family activity! Turner pretends he is Pastor Mark from school who comes in and sings with them. It is really cute! (Ryan from next door joined the band too!)

Kids
We got a new camera over the holidays because my really nice one needs to go into the shop and because I needed one to have in the diaper bag! I love it. It is a Canon with 10 megapixels! I am going to figure out all the new features eventually.

Soon!
So I know that I am so far behind in posting, but since I am sick and I really don't feel like uploading the hundreds of photos from the holidays, I am just posting now to help remind myself to do it this weekend! I promise by next Monday we will have a better post!

Marriage
Let me start by saying that I am so in love with my husband and I do think that he and I are in it forever together! As I was browsing my yahoo homepage I cam across this article about marriages... it is 7 things that no one will ever tell you, but you know is the truth about marriage! It was so true and it really made me think about my marriage and how lucky I am that I am married to someone who loves to work through it all with me! If you are married and reading this article I attached I know you will all be going "uh huh... that is so true!" and for those of you who are not married, I promise you will look back after saying the I Do's and join the rest of us with seeing how much of a journey marriage is! My favorite was the number about how you make you happy! I am such a firm believer in that and my mother always taught me to take accountability for my own feelings and I try to bring that in to my marriage and know that I need to make me happy... things Ryan does for me helps, but I am ultimatly responsible for me and my feelings! I am so lucky with my husband, but I was really glad to read this artilce and have it reaffirmed that everyone is going through the same things!!
